Molly is a life-size sculpture celebrating the women and girls who worked in the Sunderland shipyards during the 1st and 2nd world wars. Commissioned by Soroptimists International, Apextra CIC, and Sunderland City Council, Molly stands on the site of the old shipyards on the banks of the River Wear. The sculpture is made from forged and welded Corten steel.
